=S=> BGB 1182 To the extent that , in the case of a blanket mortgage , the owner of the plot of land from which the creditor is satisfied may demand compensation from the owner of one of the other plots of land or from a predecessor in title of this owner , the mortgage on the plot of land of this owner passes to him . However , if the creditor is satisfied only in part , the mortgage may not be enforced to the disadvantage of the mortgage that remains to the creditor and , if the plot of land is encumbered with an equal or lower-ranking right , it may not be enforced to the disadvantage of that right .
