=S=> BGB 900. 1 A person who is registered as the owner of a plot of land in the Land Register without having acquired ownership acquires ownership if the registration has existed for thirty years and he has had the plot of land in proprietary possession in this period . The thirty-year period is calculated in the same way as the period for acquiring a movable thing by prescription . The running of the period is suspended as long as an objection to the accuracy of the registration is entered in the Land Register .
=S=> BGB 900. 2 These provisions apply with the necessary modifications if there is a registration in the Land Register for a person of another right to which that person is not entitled and this right entitles that person to possess the plot of land or the exercise of this right is protected under the provisions governing possession . Registration is conclusive for the priority of the right .
