=S=> GG 115g Neither the constitutional status nor the performance of the constitutional functions of the Federal Constitutional Court or its judges may be impaired . The law governing the Federal Constitutional Court may be amended by a law enacted by the Joint Committee only insofar as the Federal Constitutional Court agrees is necessary to ensure that it can continue to perform its functions . Pending the enactment of such a law , the Federal Constitutional Court may take such measures as are necessary to this end . Determinations by the Federal Constitutional Court pursuant to the second and third sentences of this Article shall be made by a majority of the judges present .
