| BGB 921 If two plots of land are separated by a space , border , corner , a ditch , a wall , hedge , fence or another structure that benefits both plots of land , it is presumed that the owners of the plots of land are jointly entitled to use the structure , unless outward features indicate that the structure belongs to one of the neighbours alone . |
