| BGB 561. 1 If the lessor asserts a right to a rent increase under sections 558 or 559 , then , until the end of the second month after receipt of the declaration of the lessor , the lessee may terminate the lease for cause by special notice to the end of the second month thereafter . If the lessee gives notice of termination , then the rent increase does not take effect . |
