BGB 1640. 1 The parents must make an inventory of the property subject to their management which the child acquires as a result of death , affix to the inventory an affirmation that it is correct and complete and submit the inventory to the family court . If the inventory submitted is inadequate , the family court may order that the inventory is made by a competent authority or by a competent official or notary .
