=S=> BGB 1817. 1 The family court may , on the application of the guardian , exempt him from the duties imposed on him under sections 1806 to 1816 , to the extent that the scope of the management of assets justifies this and an endangerment of the assets is not to be feared . The requirements of no . 1 are as a rule satisfied if the value of the property , without taking real property into account , does not exceed 6,000 euros .
=S=> BGB 1817. 2 The family court may , for special reasons , exempt the guardian from the duties imposed on him under sections 1814 and 1816 even if the requirements of subsection ( 1 ) no . 1 are not satisfied .
