BGB 1767. 2 The adoption of persons of full age is governed by the provisions on the adoption of minors with the necessary modifications , except as otherwise provided in the following provisions . Section 1757 ( 3 ) applies with the necessary modifications if the adopted person has entered into a civil partnership and his birth name has been determined as the civil partnership name . For the adoption of a person who is a partner in a civil partnership , the consent of the civil partner is necessary .

BGB 1767. 2 Für die Annahme Volljähriger gelten die Vorschriften über die Annahme Minderjähriger sinngemäß , soweit sich aus den folgenden Vorschriften nichts anderes ergibt . § 1757 Abs . 3 ist entsprechend anzuwenden , wenn der Angenommene eine Lebenspartnerschaft begründet hat und sein Geburtsname zum Lebenspartnerschaftsnamen bestimmt worden ist . Zur Annahme einer Person , die eine Lebenspartnerschaft führt , ist die Einwilligung des Lebenspartners erforderlich .
